My Approach
I am an integrative counsellor, meaning I draw on different approaches to best support your needs. Person-centred is always at the core of my work, offering congruence, empathy, and unconditional positive regard.
I am here to support you in exploring your past, make connections to your present and discover a future that feels right for you.
Our work together includes:
- The sessions being about you and what you would like to use the space to talk about and explore.
- The relationship between us, being built on trust, honesty and respect.
- I will listen to your thoughts and feeling, being an emotional support to you.
- Working at a pace that feels right for you.
- Insights to support making connections to the feelings you experience in the here and now.

I am also a bereavement, grief and loss informed counsellor, having undergone training to enhance my knowledge of the different types of grief and loss people can experience and how best to support them.
Over the past 6 years, I have been a volunteer counsellor at Mind and Place2be (supporting children from the age of 5-12 years old). I have also been a listening volunteer at Samaritans.
